We’re Hiring: Remote Medical Writer / Scientific Writer (Full-Time)

Morphil Healthcare is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Writer/Scientific Writer to join our remote team full-time. Role Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for developing high-quality scientific content and managing end-to-end publication processes. You will collaborate with researchers to produce manuscripts, white papers, technical reports, and more, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with journal and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and write scientific manuscripts, reports, and white papers.
• Translate complex data into clear, engaging, and accurate content.
• Edit and proofread content for scientific accuracy, grammar, and style.
• Prepare materials such as abstracts, posters, and conference content.
• Oversee the entire publication process, including formatting and journal submission.
• Obtain DOIs from journals and ensure proper metadata submission and indexing.
• Liaise with editors, researchers, and co-authors to manage revisions and communications.
• Maintain detailed records of submissions, reviewer feedback, and publication milestones.
• Ensure compliance with journal guidelines, open-access policies, and publication ethics.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint for scientific presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Microbiology, Pharmacy, Medicine, Biotechnology, or related fields.
• Proven experience in medical writing/scientific/technical publication support (please include writing samples).
• Excellent command of written English with strong writing and editing skills.
• Ability to interpret and summarize scientific data effectively.
• Familiarity with citation/reference tools like EndNote, Mendeley, or Zotero.
• Experience with journal submission platforms (e.g.,ScholarOne, Editorial Manager).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with journal submissions or coordinating scientific publications.
• Knowledge of publication ethics, open-access requirements, and indexing systems (PubMed, Scopus, CrossRef).
