Travel Telemetry RN – Nights | Prescott, AZ | 13-Week Contract | 36 Hrs/Week

This opportunity in Prescott, AZ places you on a 49-bed cardiac/medical telemetry floor where you’ll care for a diverse patient population including CHF, post-cath, COVID, GI, and total joint replacements. Assignment Details:

• Start Date: December 2, 2025
• End Date: March 2, 2026
• Contract Type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Nights (12-hour shifts, 7p–7a)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed

About the Unit: This telemetry unit features 49 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5. You’ll work alongside monitor techs, nurse aides, and a dedicated charge nurse. Patients include those recovering from cardiac procedures, respiratory illnesses, and orthopedic surgeries. Nurses are expected to interpret telemetry strips and manage set-rate drips such as Cardizem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care for telemetry and medical-surgical patients
• Interpret and document cardiac rhythms at least once per shift
• Manage patients with BiPAP, CPAP, and breathing treatments
• Collaborate with nurse aides and interdisciplinary teams
• Document accurately using Cerner

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry experience
• Valid RN license (compact or AZ)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Experience with CVA, TIA, and total joint replacements preferred
• Cerner experience recommended

Education:

• ADN or BSN (BSN not required)

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong telemetry and post-op care background
• Skilled in basic rhythm interpretation and documentation
• Comfortable floating and adapting to different units
• Familiarity with BiPAP, CPAP, and respiratory protocols
