Medication Technician

New Hope Personal Care is currently seeking qualified Medication Technicians (Med Techs) to join our team. We have all shifts available, including day, evening, overnight, weekday, and weekend opportunities. We are looking for dependable, compassionate individuals who are committed to providing quality care and support to our residents.

Job Responsibilities:

• Administer medications to residents according to physician orders and facility policies
• Accurately document medication administration and resident observations
• Monitor residents for medication side effects or changes in condition
• Assist residents with daily living activities when needed
• Follow all safety, infection control, and medication management procedures
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other care staff regarding resident needs
• Maintain a respectful, supportive, and caring environment for residents

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Current Medication Administration Certification required
• Diabetic education or experience with diabetic care preferred
• Ability to pass a background check
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow medication protocols
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable and professional work ethic
