Medication Technician – ALF Coverage (Med Pass Experience Required)

We are seeking experienced Medication Technicians for assisted living facility coverage in the South Miami / Coral Reef / Pinecrest area, including medication passes in memory care and general population units.

This role requires individuals who can step in and safely perform medication assistance with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance with self-administration of medication in accordance with Florida regulations
• Follow MAR and facility protocols
• Maintain accuracy, organization, and professionalism
• Work efficiently in structured facility environments

Requirements:

• Med Tech certification (Florida compliant)
• Level 2 background screening
• CPR certification
• Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders (ADRD) training from the Florida Department of Elder Affairs
• CEU: Assistance with Self-Administration of Medication (Florida compliant)
• HIV/AIDS in-service training
• Prior ALF experience REQUIRED

Important:
You must be confident performing med pass and assistance with self-administration of medication in a facility setting.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
