Medication Technician/Resident Assistant

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for providing assistance with activities of daily living for our personal care residents. We provide on-site job training and will also help with training and free certification if you'd like to pursue your MedTech certification. We are also hiring MedTechs.

Essential Duties:

• Answers Residents' call signal to determine Residents' needs.
• Assists residents with dressing as needed and assigned, so that resident will be dressed for season and time of day.
• Assists residents with ambulation as needed and assigned so that the resident can move safely through the building.
• Provide miscellaneous assistance to resident.
• Makes residents' beds, empty trash and pick up clutter.
• Assure resident hygiene by following bath schedule and providing baths and/or sponge baths at all other times as necessary to keep the resident clean and odor-free.
• Assists resident with toileting as needed and assigned so the resident will maintain good toileting habits and continence when possible.
• Assists residents with transferring as needed and assigned.
• Observes resident for change in condition and report unusual occurrence to supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned
