Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated MedTech/Caregiver to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and hygiene to promote independence and comfort.
• Monitor vital signs and observe changes in patient conditions, documenting findings accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner.
• Administer medications and treatments following prescribed protocols, including specialized procedures like tube feeding and catheter care.
• Support patients with memory care needs by implementing personalized routines for dementia and Alzheimer's care in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care plans are followed and medical documentation is maintained precisely.
• Assist with medical procedures such as taking vital signs, performing basic anatomy assessments, and supporting patients during medical appointments or hospital stays.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals receiving hospice or palliative care, ensuring their comfort and dignity are prioritized.

Skills

• Proven experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and patient care techniques.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate documentation of medical records.
• Ability to perform specialized caregiving tasks including medication administration, tube feeding, catheter care, and vital sign measurement.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general; knowledge of dementia and memory care best practices.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and connect empathetically with patients.
• Understanding of HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards related to medical documentation and patient information.
