Are you a detail-oriented person who enjoys bringing enrichment and commitment to the daily lives of the elderly? At Viva Memory Care at Dresher, located in Suburban Philadelphia —you’ll be a helping hand in the overall care of our residents in the place they call home.

What You’ll Do

• Administer – Responsible for the accurate and timely distribution and documentation of medication for residents in accordance with each resident’s physician’s orders and applicable regulations.
• Engage – assist with resident participation in activities/other community programming while respecting individual preferences and abilities.
• Build– help form community among our resident population.
• Document – Report and record observations of changes in residents’ condition to director or supervisor in the daily logbook. Transfer relevant information to the next shift through the shift-to-shift verbal report.
• Collaboration – work with the Director of Nursing / Assistant Director of Nursing to bring life to the community.

Requirements

What you bring:

• Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine interest in working with seniors.
• Medication Technician Certification/Observation Notes/Testing Scores.
• Previous experience in a memory care or senior living setting preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet.
• Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or a GED.
