• Support patient care by accurately monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with activities of daily living in compliance with healthcare protocols
• Assist with specialized care needs such as Alzheimer's, dementia, memory care, hospice, and other senior or disability-related services
• Operate electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner to document medical information securely and efficiently
• Perform clinical tasks including catheter care, tube feeding, and collection of medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy
• Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare providers to ensure seamless delivery of medical documentation and accurate recording of vital signs and physiological data
• Support hospital or home-based medical procedures by applying anatomy and physiology knowledge in a safe manner
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by following infection control practices and ensuring proper handling of medical equipment

Experience

• Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments is highly preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and patient care procedures
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner is advantageous
• Background in caring for individuals with disabilities or complex health conditions like Alzheimer's or dementia enhances suitability for this role
• Familiarity with medical documentation standards and HIPAA compliance is essential
• Previous caregiving experience in hospice or senior care settings is a plus
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and acute care practices to support diverse patient needs

Pay: $18.00 - $19.50 per hour
