Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medtech/Caregiver to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties
- Assist with daily patient care activities, including mobility support, hygiene assistance, and medication administration in compliance with medical protocols and HIPAA regulations
- Monitor vital signs and record accurate medical documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems such as Epic or Cerner
- Support patients with specialized needs such as tube feeding, catheter care, and medication management
- Provide compassionate memory care and dementia support tailored to individual requirements in senior living or hospice settings
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care, including physiology and anatomy-based interventions
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control standards and safety procedures during all caregiving activities
- Document all patient interactions meticulously, ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards and legal requirements
Requirements
- Proven experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospital, or home care environments demonstrating caregiving excellence
- Knowledge of medical procedures including vital signs monitoring, catheter care, tube feeding, and medication administration
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate medical documentation
- Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and HIPAA regulations to ensure compliant patient care
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges preferred
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is highly desirable; relevant training in hospice or memory care is a plus
