Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Medtech/Caregiver to provide exceptional care and support to individuals across various healthcare settings. In this vital role, you will assist patients with daily activities, monitor health status, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment. Your expertise will help improve quality of life for seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness or injury. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. All roles are paid positions, including internships.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents and patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
• Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates to track health status
• Administer medications and treatments following prescribed protocols and medical documentation standards
• Support patients with specialized care needs such as Alzheimer's, dementia, memory care, or hospice care
• Maintain accurate medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems
• Follow HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy at all times
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement care plans and communicate patient progress effectively

Skills

• Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical procedures such as catheter care and tube feeding
• Ability to operate EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner efficiently
• Strong caregiving skills with a focus on patient safety and comfort
• Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general
• Experience in medication administration and vital signs monitoring
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with healthcare professionals and family members
