Member Services & Content Coordinator

Part-Time | Starting at $20/hour | Santa Barbara, CA

TV Santa Barbara is seeking a creative, organized, and community-minded Digital Programming & Member Services Coordinator to help support the next evolution of local media.

As TVSB expands from a traditional cable access station into a modern multi-platform community media network, this position will play a key role in member engagement, content coordination, digital programming, and creator support across broadcast, streaming, and social platforms.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is creative yet structured — a strong communicator who enjoys working with people, organizing content, supporting local creators, and helping community stories reach wider audiences.

There is significant opportunity for growth as TVSB continues expanding its digital distribution, podcasting, streaming, and community storytelling initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate programming submissions and scheduling
• Support TVSB members, producers, and community partners
• Assist with onboarding and member communications
• Help manage digital content organization and distribution workflows
• Coordinate streaming, YouTube, and multi-platform content delivery
• Support social media and promotional opportunities for member programming
• Assist with metadata, thumbnails, descriptions, and programming organization
• Help maintain a welcoming and organized creator environment
• Support TVSB’s evolving community media and civic storytelling initiatives

Ideal Candidate

• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Friendly and professional with strong communication skills
• Comfortable working with creators, nonprofits, volunteers, and community organizations
• Interested in media, storytelling, podcasts, streaming, or digital content
• Familiarity with social media platforms and basic digital workflows
• Able to balance creativity with structure and follow-through
• Comfortable learning new systems and technology

Experience with video production, streaming platforms, social media management, YouTube, podcasting, or community media is a plus — but curiosity, professionalism, and adaptability are equally important.
