Salary Range: $16.90/hr – Minimum Wage Position Plus Gratuity/Tips. The Clubhouse Bartender is responsible for providing the highest quality service to guests/members, and servers in addition to maintaining the Silverado Resort standards of cleanliness and sanitation while following the requirements at the Clubhouse Bar.
Essential Functions
- Must adhere to the company’s Service culture – 4 Keys to creating guests for life.
- Must actively participate in team member referral program and be a Talent Ambassador for Silverado Resort.
- Must participate in all resort required meetings and trainings.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform/business attire and nametag.
- Ensure that the bar and service areas are kept clean and tidy during service.
- Must be able to create various seasonal cocktails and be able to recommend them to various guests/members.
- Have a thorough understanding and knowledge of the food menu and be able to make recommendations.
- Set up the bar according to resort/bar standards and ensure that guests/members are served promptly and efficiently.
- Prepare beverages and cocktails according to the resort’s mixing and presentation standards.
- Serve guests/members with all beverage requirements in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
- Break down bar after the completion of functions, storing liquor, supplies and equipment according to the resort’s standards and ensure everything is locked.
- Follow all state liquor laws.
- Ensure overall guest/member satisfaction.
- Abide by all resort policies and safety rules.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Experience in bartending is required.
- In compliance with California laws, Responsible Beverage Service and Food Handlers Certification are required.
Working Conditions and Schedule
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
- Medium Work-Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Must be able to stand during entire shift.
- Must be able to maneuver throughout the dining area while carrying full trays of food & beverages.
