A Typical Week May Look Like This…
Membership Services
-
Responsible for updating the Learning Management System (LMS) for membership value proposition and training courses.

Maintain and update website content for both membership and training programs.
-
Coordinate AFP Regionals’ activities and related services AFP provides to the Regionals.

Provide customer support by addressing inquiries related to membership value propositions.
-
Coordinates the development and execution of training products to support AFP Membership offerings.
-
Responds to customer membership inquiries (email, phone, voicemail, etc.) in a timely manner.
-
Supports the process for Corporate Membership offering and acts as the contact for Corporate Members as required to answer necessary questions and provides services depending on the purchasing tier.

Track utilization of the membership value proposition from AFP Learn, Meet-Ups and Training activities to understand what is beneficial and what may need to be adjusted in the offerings.
Training Programs

Maintains AFP training products and information on the AFP website, Learning Management system and AFP store, as necessary. This includes but is not limited to on demand products, Exam Prep Platforms, open enrollment courses and membership/training video content.

Launches and facilitates scheduled virtual education sessions, managing the technology (Zoom or similar) and conducting practice sessions with speakers. Advances presentations, forwards questions from participants to speakers and respond to general questions until instructor base is comfortable leading on their own.

Manages the logistics for both AFP’s University and International Partner programs (Granting access, creating invoices, and generating welcome emails to all clients.) Leads the management of all logistics associated with University and International Partners in accordance with training management checklist determined by supervisor and completed by set deadlines.

Works with the Training staff to review training corporate customer and practitioner user experience across all training products and delivery channels. Make recommendations for improvements and work with internal staff across AFP to implement approved changes.

Responds to customer training inquiries (email, phone, voicemail, etc.) in a timely manner.

Coordinates across AFP functions and acts as the internal resource for corporate purchases of the FP&A and CTP Exam Prep Tool and custom training bundles.

Drafts letters of agreement for training instructors, processes instructor invoices and expense reports.

Work with the finance team for the creation and tracking of outstanding partners and training delivery invoices.

Assists with corporate client invoicing process, contracts, course scheduling and any relevant client or client related communications.

Coordinates partner management through the granting of access, the assignment of discount codes to partner submitted students, and requesting invoices from the Finance team.

Works collaboratively across AFP, ensuring training department internal clients receive relevant updates and progress reports in a timely manner. Produce reports that are distributed to AFP management.

Prepares and distributes attendee materials for seminars, custom training, and other educational events on an as needed basis. Ensure that materials are sent in a timely manner.

Creates and maintains training department SOPs for all training related functions.
Is This You?

Has 2–4 years of experience supporting training programs, learning & development initiatives, educational programs, or customer/member training operations

Enjoys coordinating multiple moving pieces while staying highly organized and detail-oriented

Has experience working with platforms such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), websites, online stores, Zoom, or CRM/AMS systems

Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with members, clients, instructors, and partners

Communicates professionally and confidently through email, phone, and virtual meetings

Is proactive, dependable, and solutions-oriented when handling deadlines, logistics, and customer needs

Thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys partnering across departments to improve processes and user experience

Is comfortable managing administrative and operational tasks such as invoicing coordination, contracts, reporting, scheduling, and documentation

Enjoys improving systems, creating SOPs, and finding ways to make processes more efficient

Can confidently manage virtual training sessions and support presenters, participants, and technology needs

Has strong technical and organizational skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms
