Membership Internship

Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Memberships Intern and gain valuable hands-on experience inside premier member establishments and global luxury residential communities. This paid internship offers an exciting opportunity to develop your customer service skills, learn about membership sales, and support store operations. You will assist with membership sign-ups, product demonstrations, site tours, and promotional activities, all while working in luxury environment. This position pays a stipend for the duration of this hybrid (Palm Jumeirah/remote) term of 2 months part-time, with an estimate 16 hours onsite per week. The ideal intern will be located in Dubai and close to the Palm Jumeirah region for ease of transport and onsite requirements.

Imagine a member establishment, and add a fashion showroom where members can loan request for content production or gala events using a simple calendar booking in-app; which also gives members access to Houses and use the platform as a launchpad to introduce their own brands and products to new markets. The OpenHouse is built for creative professionals and entrepreneurs, and gives shared access to other hi-so member clubs as a method to unite worlds.

Duties

  • Assist customers with membership sign-ups and provide detailed information about membership benefits (there are many!)
  • Conduct product demos and 'Open For Inspection' events to enhance customer engagement
  • Support merchandising efforts by organizing displays to promote memberships and member-owned products
  • Handle CRM to maintain member communications, queries, and event bookings
  • Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries related to memberships or tier 1 services
  • Talk about memberships by highlighting their value to customers during interactions, including access to a global network of OpenHouses and major luxury fashion residences (Paris, New York, Dubai)
  • Support the Fashion Reservations service operations through quality assurance, CRM management, inventory checks, and ensuring the Fashion Closet is inviting and well-organized
  • Assist the House Director with event logistics, contractor selections, decor, and member support

Qualifications

  • Previous luxury retail or customer service experience in a high-end environment is a plus; supervisory experience is beneficial but not required
  • Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve a diverse, global customer base effectively
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain products and membership benefits
  • Event planning, logistics, budgeting, and production experience highly regarded
  • Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers professionally and with sophistication
  • Ability to perform events for small member events and launches
  • A keen eye for photography and videography, to assemble video edits and publish to social media to promote the Palm Jumeirah OpenHouse
