Mendix Architect

Role & Responsibilities

• 
  3+ years of relevant experience in Solution Architecture, with strong understanding of aPaaS / PaaS and the Low Code / No Code ecosystem.

• 
  Architect large-scale Low Code applications by applying Architecture Canvas, structured design processes, validation techniques, architectural patterns, application composition, and style guide architecture.

• 
  Define and present industry-specific solutions and architectural points of view within Low Code platforms.

• 
  Create Architecture Blueprints using the three-step architecture design process: Disclose, Organize, and Assemble.

• 
  Design and implement integrations with external services using standard integration patterns and core services abstraction.

• 
  Develop microservices-based architectures and apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles using Low Code platforms.

• 
  Leverage web technologies including HTML, CSS, Java/.NET, XML, SOAP, JSON, SQL, and Web Services.

• 
  Work with modern frameworks such as Angular or React, and backend frameworks including .NET or Spring.

• 
  Design and work with relational data models and databases.

• 
  Lead system analysis, detailed design, and implementation, acting as Lead Architect and collaborating closely with business and technical stakeholders.

• 
  Partner with project teams and clients to develop formal solution designs, specifications, and effort estimates.

• 
  Oversee and guide application development aligned with approved architectural designs.

• 
  Apply DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline integration, within Low Code platforms.

• 
  Promote a culture of innovation through hackathons, technical events, and continuous learning within the team.

• 
  Ensure clear and consistent architecture documentation.

• 
  Define, enforce, and monitor architecture governance rules.

• 
  Contribute to the evolution of security standards, application architecture, and technology roadmaps.
