Job Duties

Lead a team of developers and engineers to build, customize, and deploy applications on the Mendix low-code platform.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Mendix.
Oversee the architecture and design of Mendix applications ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
Provide hands-on development support, code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
Identify and resolve complex technical issues and optimize Mendix applications for maximum efficiency.
Stay up to date with the latest Mendix features, updates, and best practices to ensure we are leveraging the platform to its full potential.
Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and best practices.

Candidate Requirements

Skills Required

Architecting and designing robust Mendix applications, ensuring scalability and performance
Defining technical standards and guidelines for Mendix development within the team
Proven experience with the Mendix low-code/no-code platform (certification is a plus).
Strong experience in application development and design using Mendix.
Solid understanding of software development principles, architecture, and design patterns.
Ability to work with front-end and back-end technologies within the Mendix environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about software solutions.
Experience leading and mentoring teams of developers.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
