Hispanic Family Counseling, Inc. (HFC) is a community-centered behavioral health agency dedicated to providing culturally competent and compassionate mental health services to Hispanic and bilingual populations throughout Central Florida.
We are currently seeking a fully licensed bilingual Mental Health Clinical Supervisor to lead and support our growing clinical team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and experienced clinician to make a meaningful impact through leadership, supervision, quality care, and community engagement.
Job Summary
The Mental Health Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing clinical operations, supervising clinicians and interns, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services.
This leadership role combines clinical supervision, mentorship, quality assurance, crisis support, staff development, and direct patient care. The ideal candidate is passionate about serving diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a multidisciplinary team of 40+ clinicians, interns, and support staff
- Review, approve, and monitor treatment plans, treatment plan updates, and discharge summaries
- Conduct clinical chart reviews to ensure quality of care, accuracy, and compliance with agency, Medicaid, HIPAA, and state regulations
- Provide ongoing clinical supervision, consultation, and support to therapists, counselors, and interns
- Oversee intake assessments, Licensed Evaluations (LEs), diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning
- Support clinicians with case conceptualization, behavioral interventions, crisis management, and therapeutic approaches
- Conduct individual and group supervision sessions utilizing evidence-based practices including CBT, behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and related modalities
- Assist with crisis intervention efforts and support emergency response protocols to ensure patient safety
- Monitor client progress and therapeutic outcomes to ensure effective service delivery
- Coordinate case assignments and workload distribution
- Facilitate staff trainings, onboarding, and professional development initiatives
- Participate in policy development, program improvement, and quality assurance activities
- Support performance evaluations and assist with disciplinary or corrective action processes when necessary
- Maintain a small caseload, including complex or high-risk cases
- Participate in outreach initiatives and represent the agency within the community
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related mental health field
- Active Florida professional license required (LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT)
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
- Strong clinical leadership and supervisory skills
- Experience working with children, adolescents, families, and diverse populations preferred
- Knowledge of crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, behavioral health interventions, and community mental health practices
- Familiarity with medical documentation standards, HIPAA compliance, treatment planning, and clinical best practices
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and high-pressure clinical environments while maintaining compassionate patient care
