Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Clinician to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services, including both group and individual sessions, crisis intervention, and patient assessment, in an outpatient setting. Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Social Work, or a related field required
Current licensure (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC) strongly preferred
Duties
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations to accurately identify mental health conditions.
- Deliver individual and group counseling sessions employing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis.
- Implement crisis management strategies and crisis intervention techniques to support clients experiencing acute mental health episodes or trauma.
- Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating patient care principles, behavioral management strategies, and case management practices.
- Maintain detailed medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring accuracy in medical terminology and CPT coding for billing purposes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including social workers, medical professionals, educators, and support staff—to coordinate care for clients with complex needs such as autism spectrum disorder or developmental disabilities.
- Facilitate intake assessments for new clients and utilize telehealth platforms to expand access to services across diverse geographic locations.
- Engage in clinical research initiatives and data collection efforts to advance best practices in behavioral health treatment.
Skills
- Proven experience in psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, and addiction counseling within outpatient or inpatient settings.
- Expertise in crisis intervention, crisis management, behavior management, and PTSD care techniques.
- Knowledge of coding systems for accurate diagnosis documentation
- Skilled in patient assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and case management across diverse populations.
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic medical records systems ensuring HIPAA compliance and secure data handling.
- Ability to apply various therapeutic approaches.

Pay: $62,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
