Mental Health Counselor

New Focus Counseling Center is a growing private practice with offices in Paris and Richardson, TX. We are expanding our Richardson location and inviting licensed clinicians to join our team in an independent contractor capacity. This is a pay-for-service arrangement — you are compensated per completed session — with full flexibility over your own schedule and caseload.

Who We're Looking For

We welcome applications from licensed clinicians including:

• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Psychologist (PhD / PsyD)
• Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy across a diverse client population
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with practice standards
• Manage your own schedule and caseload within the parameters of the contractor arrangement
• Adhere to all ethical and legal standards governing licensed practice in the state of Texas
• Collaborate with practice leadership on referrals and care coordination as appropriate

Qualifications

• Active licensure in the state of Texas
• Experience working with adults, adolescents, couples, and/or families
• Comfortable providing both in-person and telehealth services
• Strong documentation habits and professional communication skills
• Ability to operate independently as a contractor in a private practice setting
