Mental Health Counselor

Job Overview
Jasper Therapy Group is seeking Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC, LISW-CP) who are looking to provide in person or virtual services in Ridgeland, South Carolina! You will be contracted as a 1099 contractor and will be payed 60% of session rate or insurance reimbursement. If you are working in person, you will have a private, furnished office. Scheduling, advertising, paperwork, billing, and other administrative tasks will be handled for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient counseling services to clients in the office, treating a variety of issues and disorders.
• Utilize telehealth platforms to provide remote counseling services while maintaining high standards of patient confidentiality and data security.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation aligned with healthcare regulations while ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.
• Applicants will be asked to work towards seeing 20 clients a week once their caseload has time to build. Time spent writing notes, researching, and maintaining patient records is not included in the "hours" listed with Indeed - the job is listed as full time to include both time in session and time spent doing documentation, etc.
• Flexible scheduling - choose early morning availability, evening availability, mid day, and what days of the week you work.

Experience

• Must be a licensed professional counselor or social worker (LPC, LISW-CP).
• Must hold professional liability insurance.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour
