Mental Health Licensed Therapist

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced fully licensed therapist who is interested in working with adults to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health counseling and a passion for helping individuals navigate their emotional and psychological challenges. This role involves providing therapeutic support to child and adults. The Clinical Therapist will utilize evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality care while adhering to ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality. Experience is required.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and intake evaluations for new clients.
  • Provide individual sessions utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and crisis intervention.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
  • Offer specialized support for clients dealing with PTSD, addiction, grief, chronic pain, and developmental disabilities. EMDR experience is preferred but not required.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Engage in clinical research to enhance therapeutic practices and contribute to the field of mental health.
  • Provide telehealth services as needed to accommodate client accessibility.
  • Stay informed about current trends in psychotherapy, behavioral therapy, and clinical research.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Valid state licensure LMHC, LCSW, LMFT or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children and families preferred.
  • Proficiency in crisis management, behavior management, and patient assessment techniques.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development through training encouraged.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining independence in clinical practice.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $3,000.00 - $7,000.00 per month
