Mental Health Practitioner/Rehab Worker

We are seeking a Mental Health Practitioner in our ARMHS program to work with adults who have a mental illness (ARMHS). Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) promotes improving functioning and independence by teaching skills and ways to implement them into daily routines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complete all paperwork required and maintain good writing skills.
• Maintain good attendance and communication skills.
• Schedule face to face visits as dictated by the Individual Treatment Plan.
• Meet with clients weekly for sessions to work on teaching them skills identified in their treatment plan.
• Attend scheduled reviews, team meetings and clinical supervision regularly.
• Provide education to clients regarding the symptoms, course and treatment of their illness.
• Comply with the ARMHS guidelines.
• Comply with the necessary continuing education requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Must meet one of the two following criteria:

1. A Bachelor Degree in social work, psychology, human services or behavioral science related field and one year / 2000 hours of experience working with adults with mental illness.

or

2. Have two years full time or 4,000 hours of experience working with adults with a mental illness.

Must be able to pass a background study.

Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
