Mental Health Professional (PSR AND CPST)

The Mental Health Professional will assist with facilitating on-going service delivery and interventions to enhance the development of clients and restore them maximum level of functioning. The Mental Health Professional shall be appropriately trained and supervised to help consolidate therapeutic principals into the clients' daily activities. This position is community based.

Job Duties include but are not limited to:**

• Implement individual psychosocial skills training as prescribed in consumer's Treatment Plan.
• Supervise, guide, train, and participate in a variety of social skills and developmental activities, with consumers.
• Participate in Supervision monthly
• Identify behaviors that interfere with consumer's performance.
• Participate in consumer's clinical management team meeting.
• Provide PSR Services as defined in consumer's Treatment Plan.
• Assist with clinical coordination of services for consumers (i.e. transportation, medication management, in-house treatment services, scheduled appointments, etc.)
• Consumers' level of performance and progress must be documented in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system; notes must be submitted weekly.
• Assist in development of interventions that alleviate problem behavior and symptoms of mental illness that affect the consumer's ability to work and/or attend school.
• Prepares monthly schedule for consumers who require medication management.
• Complete trainings and professional developments
• This is a community-based position which will require the potential candidate to service clients in the home, school, or community setting.
• Clinicians have the ability to create their own schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have valid driver's license.

Must have reliable transportation with active insurance.

Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and TB test screening.

Education Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree (REQUIRED) in one of the following disciplines: Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Rehabilitation Services, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Secondary Education, Family and Consumer Sciences, Human Growth and Development.
