Guidance for Behavioral Health, LLC was founded in 2016 by a family seeking ways to give back to their community. During their search they found there to be a growing need for mental health treatment in the area. Guidance for Behavioral Health, LLC was founded on the principle that quality mental health services should be available to all of those that need them.

Responsibilities of MHS/MHP
- Provide direct care to members and serve as primary staff to specified caseload under clinical supervision by a LMHP
- Create individual sessions, which are directed at meeting goals outlined in the client's treatment plan
- Routinely provide services within the PSR Program and other community settings unless otherwise specified in the treatment plan
- Attend and participate in individual care conferences, treatment planning activities and discharge planning
- Assist in the preparation and leadership of social, educational and life skill activities'
- Make an ongoing status assessment of all clients on his/her caseload including personal strengths, progress, problems and needs
- Maintain a healthy relationship with clients that are conducive to learning
- Prepare, proofread and write regular, concise and complete progress notes or other documentation related to client progress status
- Submit legible logs within 24-48 hours of delivering the service with proper documentation and appropriate signatures
- Meet weekly for Supervision with LMHP the first 90 days after hiring and meet monthly after the 90 days
- Participate in training required by the agency for licensure and/or mandatory behavioral health standardized basic training modules for unlicensed providers
Minimum education requirements of MHP/MHS
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in one of the four fields, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Rehabilitation Services, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Secondary Education, Family & Consumer Sciences, Criminal Justice, or Human Growth and Development
