Mental Health Therapist

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family counseling sessions
• Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure immediate safety and stabilization for clients experiencing acute distress.
• Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote therapy sessions while maintaining HIPAA compliance and secure medical documentation practices.
• Develop and document treatment plans and progress notes

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related mental health field
• Valid licensure in Nebraska as a PLMHP, LMHP, or LMHP
• Proven experience delivering psychotherapy within an outpatient setting
• Experience with crisis management protocols and working with individuals experiencing trauma
• Familiarity with telehealth technology platforms ensuring secure patient interactions aligned with HIPAA regulations.
• Ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
• Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to client care; ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy.

Pay: $23.00 - $31.25 per hour
