Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LCSW, or equivalent) to join our healthcare team. This position offers a hybrid schedule, allowing flexibility to work remotely and in our office. Our outpatient clinic serves primarily those with private insurance, and our clinic culture is anchored in person-centered, excellent care. The ideal candidate will have great communication skills, a friendly personality, experience in mental health care, and be skilled in providing treatment for patients across various age groups and cultural backgrounds. We’re looking for a therapist who genuinely enjoys connecting with and supporting teens. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support the mental well-being of our patients.

Duties

  • Provide individual and group therapy to patients via in-person and telehealth sessions
  • Conduct initial assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate clinical documentation
  • Coordinate care with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and other team members to ensure integrated treatment
  • Participate in case consultations and team meetings
  • Maintain compliance with all ethical, professional, and regulatory standards
  • Utilize telehealth platforms to provide remote consultations and follow-up care as needed

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field
  • Active and unrestricted license in the state of Texas (LPC, LCSW, or equivalent)
  • Experience in outpatient mental health or private practice preferred
  • Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and documentation standards is essential
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
