- Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs and treatment plans
- Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions
- Engage in intake procedures, medical documentation, and HIPAA-compliant record keeping to maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management efforts and coordinate care plans for inpatient or outpatient settings
- Utilize telehealth platforms effectively
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in social work, psychology, counseling psychology, or a related mental health field; licensure as required by state law (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC)
- Proven experience in clinical counseling with a focus on behavioral health and mental health disorders
- Experience with crisis intervention methods and crisis management protocols in various settings including inpatient or outpatient clinics
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and delivering remote mental health services effectively
- Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient care; ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy
