Mental Health Therapist-Associate

Job Overview
HIRING IMMEDIATLY- We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Associate Mental Health Therapist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic services to individuals facing various mental health challenges. We see people of all ages, children, teens couples and families. This role involves working in an outpatient setting, offering support and guidance to clients while utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques. We offer a very flexible schedule. We have an amazing team of therapists and we are looking to another amazing individual. We are a very busy office!

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Provide therapy sessions utilizing various modalities.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with coding standards.
• Stay informed about best practices in mental health treatment and participate in ongoing professional development.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
• Valid state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist or equivalent credential or associate number with the BBS.
• Experience in outpatient settings is preferred; but we are willing to train the right person.
• Knowledge of therapeutic approaches.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients effectively.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all client interactions.
• Must feel comfortable in working with children and Individuals
• Couples work or training in Gottman is a plus!
• Must be able to see 15-20 clients a week, including after school and evening hours. This could be full time if wanted. We currently have a waitlist.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $50.00 per hour
