Mental Health Therapist LCSW-S, LCPC

Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients to address mental health concerns and promote emotional well-being
- Utilize evidence-based practices such as psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, and cognitive-behavioral therapy to assist clients in achieving their treatment goals
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs and diagnoses
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists or social workers, to provide comprehensive care to clients
- Facilitate group therapy sessions to address specific issues or provide support to clients
- Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in mental health counseling

Requirements:
- Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field
- Valid licensure or certification as a mental health therapist (e.g., Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker)
- Knowledge of diagnostic criteria and coding systems such as ICD-10 for accurate diagnosis and billing purposes
- Experience in providing mental health counseling services, including individual and group therapy
- Familiarity with issues related to gender identity and the ability to provide gender issues counseling
- Strong understanding of addiction counseling principles and techniques
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health conditions and treatments

Pay: $67,584.32 - $81,391.87 per year
