MEP

responsible for supervising, coordinating, and ensuring the proper installation of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems in construction projects. The role ensures that site work is executed according to approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. The position supports the construction team by solving technical issues and coordinating with subcontractors and consultants.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the execution of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems on-site.
• Review approved shop drawings, materials, and method statements before execution.
• Coordinate with civil, architectural, structural, and subcontractor teams to avoid clashes and ensure smooth workflow.
• Inspect site installations and ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and QA/QC requirements.
• Monitor daily progress of MEP activities and provide weekly reporting to project management.
• Prepare material requests, verify deliveries, and ensure correct installation according to manufacturer recommendations.
• Attend technical and coordination meetings with the consultant and main contractor.
• Oversee testing & commissioning of MEP systems (electrical tests, HVAC balancing, pumps, fire systems, etc.).
• Assist in resolving technical challenges and provide solutions to site issues.
• Ensure that all MEP activities follow safety, environmental, and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or MEP Engineering.
• 3–7 years experience in MEP work within a construction company.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical power systems, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection.
• Ability to read drawings, prepare reports, and coordinate across disciplines.
• Good command of AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), and MS Office.
• Strong communication and team coordination skills.
