QS & Cost Control Engineers are primarily responsible for overseeing and analyzing cost expenditures and projections within a project or organisation.

They utilize their expert knowledge of financial management and engineering principles to ensure projects stay within budget.

They have the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Analyse project requirements and prepare budget estimations
  • Monitor and track project costs to ensure they align with the project budget
  • Identify and report any potential cost overruns in a timely manner
  • Develop and implement cost-saving measures to maximize project profitability
  • Create financial reports and present them to senior management
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to optimise resource allocation

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.
  • Good knowledge of project management and accounting principles.
  • BSc degree in Engineering, Accounting or a relevant field.
