MEP Coordination AutoCAD Draftsman

Universal BIM & CAD Technical Solutions LLC is urgently seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP Coordination AutoCAD Draftsman to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong UAE experience in MEP coordination, excellent AutoCAD skills, and the ability to manage multi-disciplinary coordination drawings efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and develop MEP coordination drawings using AutoCAD, ensuring proper integration of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire fighting systems
• Review and combine drawings from different disciplines to create fully coordinated services layouts
• Identify and resolve clashes between MEP services and structural/architectural elements
• Coordinate with MEP Engineers, BIM modelers, and site teams to ensure accurate and workable designs
• Update and revise drawings based on consultant comments, site conditions, and coordination meetings
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications and UAE authority regulations (DEWA, Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, etc.)
• Prepare builder’s work drawings, sleeve drawings, and coordinated sections
• Assist in clash detection processes (manual and BIM-based where applicable)
• Maintain proper layering standards, file organization, and version control
• Support project teams with drawing submissions, approvals, and technical documentation
• Prepare as-built coordination drawings reflecting final site installations

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of UAE experience in MEP coordination drafting within construction or MEP companies
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting); knowledge of Revit/BIM and Navisworks is a strong advantage
• Solid understanding of MEP systems coordination (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire fighting)
• Familiarity with UAE authority standards and coordination requirements
• Ability to read and interpret multi-disciplinary drawings and resolve clashes effectively
• Experience in high-rise, commercial, or large-scale projects is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Currently based in the UAE and available for immediate joining
