MEP Coordinator

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP coordination.

· Familiar with UAE’s regulations, especially, Sharjah regulations.

Job Role:

· Excellent experience in MEP coordination is mandatory.

· Take overall responsibility for the performance and quality control of all MEP Works.

· Manage and lead MEP subcontractors from contract award through project till close out.

· Ensure that all statutory authority NOC's / permits / design approvals are available on site for construction and ensure that their requirements are adequately and satisfactorily incorporated

· Fluency and familiarity of all contract documents.

· Review and follow-up all submissions such as builders drawings, shop drawings, submittals, materials, and their compliance, method of statement…etc till getting approval with consultant.

· Coordinate onsite MEP activities, materials procurement, and other related activities with Project Manager and Field Staff.

· Attend weekly meetings with owners, architects and subcontractors. Chair additional meetings with the MEP subcontractors as necessary.

· Review all pay requests from MEP subcontractors and ensure that they are proper and timely.

• Oversees the MEP Testing & Commissioning procedure and prepare the closeout documents and submit to consultant/client.
• Ensure and follow up all required authorities process to deliver the project to client successfully.
• Oversee and direct the owner training program.
• Keep up positive working connections with owners, engineers, architects, vendors, and subcontractors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
