MEP Designer (Site Supervision & Home Automation – KNX Specialist)

Job Title: MEP Designer (Site Supervision & Home Automation – KNX Specialist)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Designer with strong experience in BOQ preparation, Rivet Designs, site supervision, supplier coordination, home automation systems (especially KNX)and Knowledge of HVAC, Electricity and plumbing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and overseeing MEP works to ensure projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems for residential and commercial projects.
• Prepare detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities), cost estimates, and material take-offs.
• Coordinate and liaise with suppliers and vendors for material selection, technical submitting, and pricing.
• Develop and integrate Home Automation systems, with strong expertise in KNX systems.
• Prepare technical drawings, shop drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit (mandatory)
• Conduct site visits and provide MEP site supervision to ensure compliance with design and quality standards.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical issues.
• Review and approve material submitting and ensure adherence to project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency in Revit and Revit MEP is compulsory.
• Proven experience as an MEP Designer (minimum 3–5 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of KNX home automation systems and smart home technologies.
• Experience in preparing BOQs, cost estimation, and supplier negotiations.
• Hands-on experience in MEP site supervision.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and automation systems.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven Experience as a MEP Designer
• Experience in luxury residential or high-end commercial projects.
• Knowledge of international MEP standards and local authority approvals.

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
