Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Draughtsman to join our construction and interior fit-out team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in preparing accurate MEP shop drawings (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing), coordination drawings, and as-built documentation in accordance with local regulations and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings using AutoCAD or Revit for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems.
• Review design drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality (DM), DEWA, Civil Defense, and other relevant authority standards.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and interior design teams to avoid clashes and ensure smooth execution on site.
• Produce accurate as-built drawings based on site conditions and redline markups.
• Assist in drawing submissions for authority approvals and ensure compliance with project timelines.
• Maintain organized drawing records and revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide support to site engineers and project managers for technical drawing clarification

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum 3-5 years of UAE experience as an MEP Draughtsman, preferably in fit-out or contracting companies.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP, Navisworks, and BIM workflow is a strong advantage.
• Sound knowledge of MEP systems and local authority requirements (DM, DEWA, Etisalat, DCD, etc.).
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
