MEP DRAFTSMAN

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare accurate MEP shop drawings (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting) based on design drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with MEP engineers and architects to incorporate changes and resolve design conflicts.
• Modify and update drawings based on site conditions, redlines, and revisions.
• Ensure drawings comply with project requirements, industry standards, and local regulations.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings upon project completion.
• Maintain drawing documentation and ensure proper version control.
• Support the site team with technical drawings during installation.
• Participate in design coordination meetings as needed.

QUALIFICATION:

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 1 years of experience as an MEP Draughtsman in construction or consultancy firms.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, or BIM tools is an advantage.
• Familiarity with MEP systems (HVAC, electrical layouts, water supply, drainage, fire protection).
• Strong understanding of technical drawings, layouts, and construction documentation.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of local building codes and construction standards.
• Experience with coordination drawings and clash detection.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR3,000.00 per month
