MEP Draftsman

Universal BIM & CAD Technical Services LLC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented MEP Coordinator to join our growing BIM team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) services across projects, ensuring clash-free and well-coordinated BIM and shop drawings in compliance with project requirements and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate MEP systems (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting) with architectural and structural disciplines.
• Review and manage BIM models and drawings to identify and resolve clashes using Revit and Navisworks.
• Conduct and participate in MEP coordination meetings with internal teams, consultants, and contractors.
• Ensure coordinated drawings comply with project specifications, authority requirements, and BIM standards.
• Prepare and update coordination drawings, RFIs, and reports as required.
• Monitor model updates and ensure timely submission of coordinated deliverables.
• Support site teams during construction for coordination-related issues.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of BIM models and drawings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred).
• 3–5 years of UAE experience in MEP coordination or BIM coordination.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and construction methodology.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, AutoCAD.
• Experience in clash detection and resolution workflows.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Immediate joiners will be preferred.
