MEP Draftsman

We are seeking an experienced MEP Draftsman with solid UAE project exposure to prepare detailed Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing drawings. The ideal candidate should be proficient with AutoCAD and familiar with UAE authority regulations and construction standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare MEP coordinated shop drawings, detailed layouts, and as-built drawings.
• Develop HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and drainage drawings as per project requirements.
• Review IFC drawings, project specifications, and ensure accuracy before drafting.
• Coordinate effectively with engineers, architects, and other disciplines for drawing updates.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations (DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, DM, DCD, etc.).
• Update and maintain drawing registers and documentation.
• Assist in resolving site-related MEP technical issues through accurate drafting.
• Prepare quantity take-offs when required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years UAE experience as an MEP Draftsman.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), and MS Office.
• Excellent understanding of MEP systems and coordination.
• Knowledge of UAE authority submission standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in high-rise buildings, residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows (advantage).
• Knowledge of sustainable design requirements in the UAE.
