MEP Draftsman cum Designer

Job Description:
Digicraft Interiors, a growing interior design and fit-out company in Abu Dhabi, is looking for an experienced MEP Draftman cum Designer with a Civil Engineering qualification and strong expertise in detailed technical drawings for interior fit-out and construction projects.

The ideal candidate should be capable of preparing accurate shop drawings, detailed execution drawings, and coordinating with design and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, joinery drawings, and construction drawings for interior fit-out projects
• Develop technical detail drawings based on concept designs and site measurements
• Coordinate with architects, estimators, project engineers, and site supervisors
• Revise drawings as per client comments, consultant approvals, and site conditions
• Prepare as-built drawings upon project completion
• Ensure drawings comply with UAE standards, authority requirements, and project specifications
• Support project team with drawing clarifications during execution
• Maintain proper drawing documentation and version control

Requirements:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering/ Architect
• Strong knowledge in detail drawing and technical drafting
• Minimum 2–5 years in interior fit-out / construction industry preferred
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
• Knowledge of SketchUp / Revit / 3D software is an added advantage
• Ability to understand construction methods, materials, and site execution details
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
