MEP Draftsman -Landscape

The MEP Draftsman – Landscape is responsible for preparing accurate and detailed MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) drawings related to landscape projects. This includes irrigation layouts, lighting, drainage, and utility coordination to ensure proper installation as per project specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting & Design Support
• Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings for landscape projects (irrigation systems, lighting layouts, water features, and drainage systems).
• Develop coordinated drawings integrating civil, structural, and architectural information.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, local authority requirements, and international standards.
• Documentation & Coordination
• Update and revise drawings based on consultants’ and clients’ comments.
• Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, and approvals.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and other disciplines for smooth workflow.
• Site Support
• Provide drawing clarifications to the site team when required.
• Participate in site visits, when necessary, to collect data or verify existing conditions.
• Quality & Compliance
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings to minimize errors during execution.
• Follow company CAD standards and naming conventions.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Diploma or ITI in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services or equivalent.
• Experience: 3–5 years of experience as an MEP Draftsman, preferably in landscape/irrigation projects.

• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D essential, 3D preferred).
• Knowledge of irrigation design, water supply systems, lighting layouts, and drainage networks.
• Familiarity with authority standards (e.g., DEWA, Dubai Municipality) is an advantage.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
