MEP Draughtsman

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Draughtsman to join our construction/MEP team in our organisation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing coordinated Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing drawings as per project specifications, consultant requirements, and local authority standards (EWA, EDD, Municipality, Civil Defense, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings using AutoCAD or Revit (preferred).
• Develop layouts for HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Firefighting, Electrical, ELV, and Infrastructure services.
• Ensure drawing compliance with Bahrain local authority standards (EWA, EDD, GIS, Civil Defense, Municipality, Tatweer, etc.).
• Coordinate with project engineers, site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve design issues.
• Update drawings based on site conditions, change requests, or RFI responses.
• Maintain organized drawing logs and documentation for submission and approval.
• Assist in material take-offs and BOQ verification when required.
• Attend technical meetings to support design clarification and coordination.
• Ensure all drawings are produced within deadlines and meet quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years GCC experience in MEP drafting (Bahrain experience preferred).
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP is an advantage.
• Excellent understanding of MEP systems, construction methods, and project workflows.
• Ability to read and interpret consultant drawings, specifications, and authority guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and coordination capability.
• Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Additional Requirements

• Valid Bahrain visa or transferable visa is preferred.
• Must be available to join immediately or within short notice.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: BD400.000 - BD600.000 per month
