MEP Draughtsman

Draughtsman roles in the UAE typically require 3+ years of local experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, and readiness to join immediately. Responsibilities focus on preparing detailed MEP drawings and coordinating with engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed MEP drawings (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Coordinate with engineers and site teams to ensure drawings align with project specifications and standards.
• Produce shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings for HVAC, drainage, water supply, electrical, and fire protection systems.
• Ensure compliance with local codes and DEWA standards, especially for electrical schematics.
• Support project documentation and technical queries during construction phases.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of UAE experience in MEP drafting, preferably on commercial or mixed-use projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with UAE building codes and standards.
• Diploma or degree in Drafting Technology, Architecture, or Engineering.
• Ability to join immediately is often a key hiring criterion.

Preferred Skills

• Experience producing Reflective Ceiling Plans (RCP) and working with ELV systems.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, lighting, small power, and fire protection systems.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
