MEP Electrical Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. The candidate will be responsible for the design, coordination, and execution of electrical systems within commercial, residential, and interior fit-out projects. The role requires strong technical knowledge, site coordination skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop power distribution, lighting, low voltage, and fire alarm systems.
• Prepare and review electrical design drawings, load schedules, SLDs, and specifications.
• Coordinate electrical works with mechanical, plumbing, and architectural disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, local codes, and safety standards.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and as-built documentation.
• Supervise site installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Assist in tender preparation, cost estimation, and value engineering.
• Conduct technical meetings with consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site technical issues promptly.
• Prepare progress reports and support project documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 3–8 years of experience in MEP design or site execution (commercial, residential, or fit-out projects).
• Strong knowledge of MEP coordination and electrical design standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Office, and electrical design software.
• Understanding of local electrical authority standards (e.g., DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, or equivalent).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $90,326.91 - $130,942.09 per year
