Job Purpose

To supervise and support the effective operation, maintenance, and integration of ELV, IoT, BMS, and engineering systems—ensuring compliance with MODON standards, optimal system performance, and seamless smart-building functionality.

Key Responsibilities

ELV, IoT & Engineering

• Oversee design, review, and installation of ELV, IoT, BMS, SCADA, and utility network systems in line with MODON standards and local authority regulations.
• Review and verify technical drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and project specifications for compliance and constructability.
• Supervise system integration and network architecture using BACnet, Modbus, MQTT, M-Bus, LoRaWAN, and other protocols.
• Manage commissioning, testing, and system handover as per company standards.

Operations & Maintenance

• Oversee daily operations, troubleshooting, and preventive/corrective maintenance of ELV, IoT, BMS, HVAC controls, and smart metering systems.
• Ensure complete handover documentation (as-built drawings, O&M manuals, configuration files, warranties).
• Ensure compliance with Civil Defense, ADMCC, DoE, and MODON operational requirements.
• Conduct point-to-point checks and verify accuracy of sensors/meters (temperature, CO₂, BTU, electrical meters, etc.).
• Monitor building automation system performance (HVAC controls, FAHUs, FCUs, pumps, chillers, AHUs).

Team Management & Coordination

• Supervise and allocate tasks to technicians; ensure quality standards are met.
• Provide technical training on ELV, BMS, and MEP systems.
• Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, and subcontractors for rectification, upgrades, and service visits.
• Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and internal FM teams.
• Ensure workforce compliance with SOPs, safety procedures, and quality benchmarks.

Compliance, Documentation & Reporting

• Ensure adherence to HSE, OSHAD, Civil Defense, QCC, and ADMCC standards.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports, breakdown analysis, and incident reports.
• Maintain updated maintenance logs, asset registers, checklists, and material consumption reports.

Qualifications

• B.E. / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Experience & Competencies

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in ELV, BMS, and MEP system O&M, installation, testing, and commissioning.

Competencies

• HVAC controls training (OEM/vendor courses).
• Strong knowledge of UAE Fire Code, NFPA, OSHAD.
• Hands-on experience with BMS & Automation Systems (Siemens, Honeywell, JCI, Schneider, Niagara N4).
• ADMCC license preferred.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
