MEP Engineer / MEP Coordinator / MEP Design Engineer / MEP Site Engineer
(Title may vary based on role and experience)

Job Objective:

To plan, design, coordinate, and supervise all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems in construction projects—ensuring they are efficient, compliant with codes, and meet the project’s operational needs.

Key Responsibilities: Mechanical (HVAC, Fire Protection, etc.)

  • Design and review HVAC systems
  • Coordinate installation of chillers, ductwork, and ventilation systems
  • Ensure thermal comfort and energy efficiency

Electrical (Lighting, Power, Fire Alarm)

  • Prepare electrical load calculations and layouts
  • Supervise installation of wiring, panels, lighting, and backup systems
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety codes

Plumbing (Water Supply, Drainage, Gas)

  • Design and inspect water supply and sewage systems
  • Oversee installation of plumbing fixtures, piping, and valves
  • Coordinate stormwater and gas distribution systems

General Duties

  • Review and interpret MEP drawings and specifications
  • Ensure integration with structural and architectural elements (clash detection)
  • Conduct site inspections and quality checks
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project managers
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion
  • Prepare and maintain documentation (BOQs, RFIs, reports)

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, codes, and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, NEC, IPC, etc.)
  • Proficiency in design and drafting tools (AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks)
  • Understanding of building services and construction methods
  • Project management and coordination
  • Problem-solving and attention to detail
  • Communication and teamwork

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
  • Professional certifications (optional but valuable):
  • LEED, PMP, Autodesk Certified, etc.
  • 2–5 years of experience (entry to mid-level roles)
  • 5+ years for senior or managerial MEP roles

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
