MEP Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical engineering and be proficient in various engineering tools and methodologies. This role involves designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards. The Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems and components using CAD software such as SolidWorks and Creo.
• Create detailed schematics and drafting documentation for manufacturing processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues in existing designs and propose effective solutions.
• Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and Arduino for system design and automation projects.
• Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate design integrity under various conditions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible for production while adhering to ASME codes & standards.
• Engage in project scheduling to ensure timely completion of engineering tasks.
• Develop simulations using MATLAB and Simulink to model complex systems.
• Apply GD&T principles in the design process to ensure precision in manufacturing specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in mechanical design and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in CAD software, specifically SolidWorks and Creo, is essential.
• Familiarity with PLCs, LabVIEW, CNC machining, and other automation tools is highly desirable.
• Experience with quantum engineering concepts is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects effectively.
