MEP Engineer

Should have Minimum 3 Years of UAE experience in construction / Renovation
Should have UAE Driving License
Candidate who are on cancelled Visa / join immediate will be given preference
Salary AED 7k + Car + Other benefits

The MEP Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, coordinating, and supervising Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works for interior fit-out, renovation, and construction projects. The role involves ensuring that all MEP systems are technically sound, aligned with project specifications, approved drawings, local regulations, and executed within timelines.

Key Responsibilities1. Design & Planning

• Review and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with design consultants, architects, and interior designers for MEP integration in renovation layouts.
• Prepare technical submittals, shop drawings, load calculations, and material specifications.
• Assist in value engineering proposals to optimize cost and efficiency.

2. Project Execution & Coordination

• Supervise site execution of HVAC, electrical, low-current, fire fighting, plumbing, drainage, and other MEP systems.
• Coordinate with civil and interior teams to avoid clashes and ensure smooth integration.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure that work is executed per approved drawings and QA/QC standards.
• Ensure compliance with local codes (HVAC, electrical, fire safety, plumbing).

3. Material & Vendor Management

• Prepare MEP material schedules and requisitions.
• Evaluate suppliers and subcontractors; review quotations technically.
• Monitor material delivery and ensure compliance with approved samples.

4. Testing, Commissioning & Handover

• Plan and supervise testing & commissioning of all MEP systems.
• Conduct snagging and de-snagging before project handover.
• Prepare as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and handover documentation.

5. Project Control & Reporting

• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
• Assist Project Manager with project schedule, risk identification, and cost control.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and site protocols.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–7 years of experience in MEP works, preferably in interior fit-out / renovation projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, ELV systems, plumbing, fire fighting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office; Revit knowledge is a plus.
• Understanding of local building codes and authority approval procedures.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
