We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in construction projects to manage and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works on site. The candidate must ensure that all MEP activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Supervise and coordinate MEP site activities (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting & Fire Alarm).
- Ensure installation works comply with project specifications, approved submittals, and authority regulations.
- Coordinate with civil, architectural, and other engineering disciplines to avoid clashes.
- Prepare and submit shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
- Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed within schedule and budget.
- Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and site safety requirements.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and attend coordination meetings.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and site-related problems promptly. Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant MEP experience in building or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Systems.
- Familiar with local authority codes and standards (e.g., ADDC/DEWA/DM/Civil Defense – if applicable).
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and basic planning tools.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and under project deadlines.
