MEP Engineer

Senior MEP Engineer - Fit-Out Projects

We are seeking a highly experienced and results driven Senior MEP Engineer to join our team for ongoing fit out projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and proven experience in managing MEP works within fast paced project environments.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP construction projects
• Proven experience in fit out projects or similar interior construction works
• Strong background in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems
• Ability to coordinate MEP works with civil and architectural disciplines
• Capable of ensuring strict quality control and compliance with specifications and standards
• Experience in reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation
• Ability to lead and coordinate site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors
• Strong knowledge of testing & commissioning procedures

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all on site MEP activities
• Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings and project standards
• Coordinate with project management, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues
• Monitor installation quality and ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements
• Review and control project documentation and progress reports
• Supervise testing, commissioning, and handover activities
• Ensure timely completion of MEP works in line with project schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Strong leadership and coordination skills
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities

Preferred Qualifications (Added Advantages)

• Previous experience in airport, hospitality, or high security fit out projects
• Strong knowledge of NFPA, IEC, ASHRAE, SBC, or international MEP standards
• Experience in authority approvals and inspections
• Experience in managing handover documentation and close out processes
