MEP Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Engineer to oversee and coordinate the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, hands-on experience in project coordination, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders. You will be responsible for ensuring that MEP systems are designed, installed, and maintained in accordance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, review, and oversee the installation of MEP systems in accordance with project specifications and local regulations.
• Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and other consultants to integrate MEP systems with overall building design.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
• Review and approve MEP drawings, calculations, and material submittals.
• Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and suppliers for MEP components.
• Identify potential design or installation issues and provide solutions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Support the commissioning and testing of MEP systems.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or related field).
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in MEP design and construction projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other design software.
